3D Printing Craft Session for 5/6 year olds - Tuesday 13th August 2024 - 1pm - 2.30pm
This is a shorter fun session for younger 3D printers who may still be getting used to using computers.
This relaxed session is a gentle introduction to 3D printing mixed in with some fun painting. During the session:
- Introduction to the world of 3D printing
- Design a keyring and send it to print
- Whilst waiting for the print to finish, paint a fidget animal.
Please note we will be using acrylic paints during this session and though aprons are available, wearing old clothes is encouraged!
If any of the prints do not finish before the session then the item can either be collected or posted once finished.
Health & Safety
The workshops take place in a working print studio. The printers have moving and heated parts. Students will be expected to listen to and follow instructions for their own safety and the safety of others.
Any drinks brought into the studio should be in a enclosed cup/water bottle. Please do not bring any food into the studio.
Please email me at clare@3dprintinggal.co.uk if you have any questions.
The class includes free parking for the full day at Hylands Estate and 10% discount in the Deli Cafe opposite the studio.
